Not much of a field, no special libraries (just Laminar), nothing
really special about it. About the only thing special about it is that
the Channel Islands served as the backdrop for much of the "Black Sheep
Squadron" aerial footage, somehow pretending it was the Solomon Islands
in the south Pacific.
Christy Airstrip is a 2500' strip on the Santa Cruz island in the California Channel Islands.
I built this because I "bought" the field in FSEconomy and wanted more than just a strip of grass at "my" airport. (For those who use FSEconomy, feel free to drop in for a burger and a brew (except the PIC, of course!). Cheap gas, cheap MX.)
